The main tasks of the organizational and mass department are:

- management of the city children's and youth organization "Zhas Ulan"; Dissemination of innovative forms of work in children's and youth public organizations;

- implementation of projects and programs of activities of children's associations of schoolchildren through various mass events;

- creating conditions for the education of moral, civic and patriotic qualities, ecological culture, promotion of a healthy lifestyle;

- providing methodological assistance to senior counselors and class teachers in all areas of educational work with children.

In 2011, on the initiative of the Head of our State – the Leader of the Nation – N. Nazarbayev, a single children's and youth organization "Zhas Ulan"was created in the republic.  Teachers-organizers coordinate the activities of the city "Zhas Ulan", which unites students of 2-10 classes of schools in the city. By participating in the activities of a children's and youth organization, children become in demand in modern society, learn to show creative initiative for the benefit of society and the state, acquiring and developing leadership qualities.

Every year, the program of activity of the organization "Zhas Ulan" is developed in the following areas: "Rukhaniyat", "Zerde", "Otan", "Ekoelem", "Salauat", "Zheti zhargy", "Enbek". Basic forms of working with students: gatherings, meetings, promotions, holidays, competitions, seminars, various intellectual, business and educational games, excursions, operations, trainings that correspond to the age characteristics of the members of the organization.

"Kokzhiek"

Senior counselors of the city schools are united by the club "Kokzhiek". "Kokzhiek" is about learning, sharing experiences, ideas, communication and cooperation. The club is one of the forms of improving the professional competence of counselors. In the club" Kokzhiek " senior counselors share their experience, learn to organize their teaching activities, set a pedagogical goal, look for ways to achieve the goal, bring the matter to the end and analyze the results of their activities.

The main task of the club: the development of active and creative abilities of the individual-to teach to remember everything that they hear, to teach everything that they do not yet know how and constantly come up with something new for children.

The Music faculty

The music faculty trains children aged 6-10 years. The training is 7-year, on a contractual basis. Children are taught a specialty in the piano class. Additionally, the subjects "Solfeggio", "Musical literature" and "Choir" are studied.

Upon completion of the training, the children receive a diploma. Due to their specific nature, young pianists do not have the opportunity to participate in professional competitions of the instrumental genre.

Pupils of teachers E. K. Suter, Zh. F. Aldabergenova, A. S. Talasbayeva and M. M. Ryzhenkova went to festivals and competitions, where they won prizes.

At the end of the academic year, the Faculty of Music holds a report concert, which presents performances of almost all students.

Aesthetic development for children

In the city Palace of Schoolchildren in 1988, a school of aesthetic development for children of 6 years old was opened, which in recent years has been a preschool faculty of the Academy of Children's Creativity. The main objectives of the programs are:

1. Identify the creative abilities of each child and help in choosing directions for continuing classes in the teams of the Palace of Schoolchildren.
2. Creating an educational environment that organizes the life of children during the transition from play to learning activities.
3. Assistance to preschool children in the transition to a new level of education.

The training is conducted at 3 age levels:

Stage 1 – children 4 years old; classes are held 2 times a week.

Subjects studied: Kazakh language, educational games, drawing, singing and music, rhythmic.

Stage 2-children 5 years old; classes are held 2 times a week.

Subjects studied: Kazakh language, English, developmental learning, drawing, singing and music, choreography.

Stage 3-children 6 years old; classes are held 2 times a week.

Subjects studied: Kazakh language, English, literacy, mathematics, drawing, singing and music, choreography.

Experienced teachers with special education work with preschoolers, according to author's or variable programs.

During the training, open classes are held for parents with the aim of closer contact with teachers and active participation in the development and training of their child.

The high performance of classes is indicated by the fact that every year the number of children who continue their education at the next stages increases.

More than 40% of children who have completed their studies at the school of aesthetic development continue to study in various circles and creative teams of the Palace of Schoolchildren.

Teachers of general education schools, who test children for admission to primary school, also note the good preparation of SHER graduates and give a high assessment of their intellectual development.

Model art faculty

In 1973, a fine art studio was established in the Aktobe City Palace of Schoolchildren. In 1986, the ART studio received the title of "Exemplary".

Since 1997, the Art studio has been transformed into the Art Faculty of the Academy of Children's Creativity. The program has expanded, which gave the Academy graduates the opportunity to enroll in art colleges or universities.

In 2010, the Art Faculty became a member of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs.

In 2015, the Ambassador of India visited the City Palace of Schoolchildren to award the winners of the International Children's Drawing Contest "Bright Colors of India".

Teachers of the Art faculty conduct numerous Republican, regional, and city master classes for teachers of fine arts and art work in schools in Aktobe and the region, as well as for teachers of educational institutions of additional education.

Graduates of the Art faculty are famous artists of international scale.

This is Marat Bekeev, a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

His works are in the museum named after him. Kasteeva in Almaty, in private collections in many countries.

Kuanysh Bazargaliyev is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, constantly participates in exhibitions in France, England , and the countries of Scandinavia.

Marat Gabdrakhmanov, who is currently the Director of the Regional Museum of Art in Aktobe, exhibited his works at the UN. And other famous artists of Kazakhstan.

Applied faculty

The faculty teaches the following subjects: construction and modeling, artistic knitting and fashion design.

Faculty members with higher education. Teachers of the applied faculty conduct methodological work, annually conduct seminars and open lessons for teachers of the region and the city.

At the applied faculty, children aged from 10 to 17 years are engaged. The training period is 3 years. Students receive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the classroom. During the year of training, children must complete several products. At the end of the school year, children demonstrate their own hand-made products at the final fashion show of the Prestige Fashion Theater.

Students of the Applied Faculty take part in international festival competitions, Olympiads, exhibitions, where they take prizes.

Individuality, originality of students ' thinking-this is the main result of the work of the applied faculty.

Dance Faculty Model ensemble «Iskorki»

The ensemble "Iskorki" was created in 1974. This is a creative team that unites more than 300 children from 6 to 17 years old. Over the years of its existence, the choreographic team has been repeatedly awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. In 1984, the ensemble "Iskorki" was awarded the title "Model".

In the ensemble, the children learn the basics of choreographic art. The training lasts for 6 years. 1 and 2 courses are engaged 2 times a week for 1.5 hours. 3,4,5 and 6 courses-three times a week for 1.5 hours.

In the 1st and 2nd courses, the main emphasis is on rhythmic classes, the basics of classical dance are studied, and the elements of folk-characteristic dance are unlearned.

In the 3rd year, the subject "Kazakh Dance" is added, where the children get acquainted with the positions of the arms, legs, body position and learn the basic movements of the Kazakh dance.

To the main subjects ( classical and folk-characteristic dance), in the 4th year, the subject "Historical and everyday dance" is added. The course contains the basics of the theory and practice of studying dance culture of the 16th and 19th centuries.

In the 5th year, students study "Sports and Ballroom dance" or a lesson in "Modern Dance".

In the 6th year, the subject of KPT (composition and staging of dance) is introduced. Students put on their own dance routines. At the end of the school year, they pass a theoretical and practical exam and receive a certificate of graduation from the studio.

After the end of the studio, the guys stay in the ensemble and study for free.

Several times a year, the ensemble goes to National and International choreographic competitions. The ensemble takes an active part in city, regional and national events.

Graduates of the ensemble study and already teach in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries, in all areas of choreography.

During the classes of the "Model-car construction" circle, the children get acquainted with a large number of different materials and tools, acquiring very useful practical skills in life. This circle helps to prepare children for constructive and technological activities and the choice of a profession, technical and technological solutions in the future.

In the process of making models, students prepare graphic documents (drawings, drawings, diagrams), search for the optimal design of the model body, and its manufacturing technology. Throughout the entire stage of making the model, students carry out self-control and evaluation of their activities. After making the model, the children have the opportunity to perform at competitions, contests and exhibitions.

Technical modeling is madding different technical objects. The juniority kids works with a paper, carton and things. They create, make by themselves. Boats, steamships, rockets, airplanes, cars, toys are made from a paper and carton

The Bell Puppet Theater was organized in 1971. In 1982, the Bell Theater was awarded the title of "Model". In the following years, the title "exemplary" was repeatedly confirmed. The model puppet theater "Bell" works with the types of dolls: parsley and cane.

A new direction since 1999 in the activity of the puppet theater "Kolokolchik" is the work with large floor dolls of the variety puppet theater "Arlekin". A lot of work is being done on the production of dolls, on the creation of their image, on the production of props, scenery, stage design. In the puppet theater, the children see familiar and favorite toys: a bear, a cat, a bunny, a dog, a Parsley-only they came to life, moved and spoke, and became even more attractive and interesting. The extraordinary spectacle captures the children, takes them into a very special, fascinating world.
